Emotional rollercoaster begins

Well as mentioned on my previous blog post we have sickies at this house. Well turns out we still have a sickie that just won't get better and has since been admitted to the childrens hospital with "bacterial pnemonia". So my little man whom I had thought had hopefully been through his ups and downs with infections coming and going through the first months of his life is hitting yet another visit with the not so happy place. This time around though is a little bit different....he isn't 4 pounds 6 ounces and a brand new baby that just lays still...instead he is a 17 month old that really doesn't understand what all these people that keep coming in and constantly poking and prodding every hour want...and really wishes they would just go away. Oh on top of that the oxygen prongs that now have a place in his little nostrils and the painful i.v that is sitting on his wrist that he thinks he wants to pull out....little does he know he does not want to know what that would feel like. So for right now its touch and go....not really sure what is going to happen through the night. They are checking vitals every hour and they are pretty worried at this point. X-rays came back with a very enflamed right lung and therefore he is working very hard to breathe, rightfully so. So for right now I am really hoping that tonight brings a good one with lots of sleep and medicine that kicks in too bring my bouncing little guy back to his mischief.
